Hi everyone! Just got back from the keys and I'm happy to say that ferret
Baby is doing great!! Fortunately my son came home from school at the last
minute so I was able to leave the baby at home.It made me feel sooo.. much
better for him to stay in his familiar environment.

However, before I left I wrote out about 8 pages of do's and don'ts along
with lots of instuctions on feeding, etc. As it turned out my son had a
friend to stay with him who ahs had ferrets all his life so it worked out
great!

When we got home the baby really had a fit! He seemed to be so happy to
see us and it looked like he had grown to twice his size while we were
gone. He also learned of a few more things to try to get into.

I asked my 2 yr. old niece what she thought I should call him not really
expecting her to give me a good response - ( You know how 2 yr. olds are)
Anyway, believe it or not she said Autumn. I thought that was great! It
sounded pretty good to me so let me know what you think.

Well, I just wanted to say hello and let you know how things turned out.
Thanks for all the comforting advice to those of you who responded to my
worries about leaving my baby. Also, if anyone has any good advice on how
to accomplish nail clipping let me know. He doesn't want to sit still and
I'm getting clawed on a regular basis now.

Thanks again to all you wonderful ferret lovers out there who have been so
helpful!!
