Another tip concerning having raccoons this near your home... they are
susceptible to canine distemper.  Be sure your ferrets are regularly
vaccinated and remember there is a small possibility that you could track
the virus into your home on your shoes or that the ferrets could pick it
up from cruising the deck after an infected raccoon had visited.
