Hello all,

Sorry for the delay. It has been crazy. Abe was diagnosed with
insulinoma (as the vast majority suggested) and he was cleared of
adrenal!!!! :-) It is mild case and the vet has prescribed Pediapred.
Now, I was charged $31 for what I believe is 5mg??? I don't know, the
bottle says, 5mg/5ml... I don't know conversions between the two so for
all I know it is 5.5mg??? Either way, from researching the web that
seems pricey. Does anyone know how I can or where I can get Pediapred
cheaper? It is a children's prescription and places like Banfield don't
carry it. I have have various types of prednisolone and I don't know
which is exactly like it. Anyone think a normal pharmacy would take a
vet's prescription??? No one know's Abe Bass is a ferret! Besides you
guys of course. :)

Any pediapred suggestions? He is presently on .5ml in the morning then
again at night.

And he is doing well and no longer sluggish, this is apparent by the
semi-daily pediapred battles!

Thanks all,

Stephanie and ABE CHOP (back in action)
