I saw a really bad cartoon in last Thursday's paper.  It was in a one frame
strip called "Far from Home" that tries to be "The far Side".  Anyway, the
setting weas a pet store which was selling "leaping" ferrets.  two were
hanging from the nose and hair of customers, with eyeglasses, a hairbrush
and something that looked like the top of someone's head lying around on the
floor.  The frantic saleswoman was saying "Those are 20% off today."
definitely NOT conducive to the CA Legalization struggle or to the ongoing
battle here in KS for ferret equal rights.  As soon as I find the e-mail
address for this cartoonist, he'll be hearing from me!
