My friend Ababa told me a wonderful story. Maybe you remember that I
was supposed to arrive here in Addis 12/24, at the same time as my
ferrets and all my other animals, but got delayed till 1/11/08.

Ababa said that one day during the delay she saw Sisay (I mispelled his
name as Seesai before) sitting on thr floor w the ferts in their room
wanting to comfort them, saying he was sorry they were missing their
mother, but that he would be their mother for now.

The other night I was stiing on the floor of the ferrets room playing w
Eric, one of my play biters who can bite a little hard. I was rolling
him around on his back, and he started holding onto one of my fingers
with his back feet, grasping the same way as they all do w their front
feet. He is one of the youngest and the most playful of them all.
