We also have an albino (Grover, female, 3yr) that I have
questions/comments on. She is a prissy. She does not like to be touched
but I think this might have to do with her eyesight being poor. If I
put my hand in front of her nose and then pet her she doesn't jump out of
the way as much. She also has never been a cuddler. But I think
cuddling, not only having to do with age, also has something to do with
how they were raised and with whom. By way of example, we have tow other
ferrets: Ernie, male, sable, 4yr, and Elmo, male, butterscotch (?), 1 yr
this mo. When we got Ernie we had no other pets. The night we brought
him home he ran around the apartment crying :(. So I picked him up and
comforted him. I was very affectionate with him and my husband and I
were his only playmates. We got Grover a year later so he would have a
playmate. We didn't cuddle with Grover much since she had Ernie. A year
ago we got the urge again and got Elmo (what is it with ferrets that
makes you want more and more [I want 5!]). Elmo was given a little more
affection than Grover because Ernie kept beating him up (stopped after a
week or two) but he isn't much of a cuddler either; only when he is real
tired or depressed (mom and dad have been telling him to stop doing
things too much). Grover will only sit on my lap only when she first gets
up in the morning (and it seems only if Ernie is there) or when she's
really tired at night. Ernie is a mama's boy. Doesn't like to play much
with Mom and Dad (about 5 minutes) but will play alot with Elmo and
Grover. But he likes to be petted and cuddled. I hope Elmo grows into
it but I'm not holding my breath with Grover. Someone mentioned the
other issue that this might be a female thing. I also notice that Grover
is a lot more sensitie to foods than the other two, could this be an
albino trait. Also, her eyesight. It's so sad, I know she's not blind
but she does have bad eyesight. Sometimes she'll run across the room and
run right into something. So sad. Is this albino as well?

Reguarding ABC/GMA does anyone have a snail mail address. I have friends
who have more friends that would love to right letters. But we'd have to
do this ASAP.

Also, yes, what is the deal with the law in CA (can understand in HA). I
think we all need to get involved with all of the states whether we live
there or not to help get these inane laws repealed.
