Hello Fellow FMLers.  I haven't posted since I first joined the list a few
months back.  I just wanted to tell everyone to go buy one of those Weezel
Balls.  My two ferts went nuts over it.  I did wind up removing the "weasel"
from it (It was connected by a piece of plastic ) because it just seemed to
slow the gyrating ball down.  My oldest, Chewie, tries to sit on it.  It is
the most hilarious sight!!!!
 
I do have a couple of questions.  First, I may be receiving another ferret
from someone I met.  My question is, this ferret is due for her shots now
(the owner said she will get them done before I take the ferret ), but I
would like to put the ferret on the same schedule as my two ferrets.  Their
shots aren't due till February though.  Would it be OK to wait to get the
new ferret's shots?
 
Also, I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Does anyone know of any ferret-
knowledgeable vets in this area?  The vet I had is no longer in this area,
something I didn't find out till I had a blockage scare in the middle of
the night.
 
Last question, I promise!  Does anyone know of any shelters in my area?
The only ones I know of are all at least two-and-a-half hours away :(
