Carla: In response to your message about the young ferrets being sold.
 
    We just picked up one (Megan) in Nevada last Friday. We were
    assured that it was 7 weeks old and just small. After looking at
    her teeth and saying "yah, sure" we purchased her anyway because
    she was an instant heart stopper. We took he to the vet on
    Saturday for her shots and the vet confirmed that she is only 5
    weeks old. She is a Marshal Farms ferret. We have always had good
    luck with them and they usually have great personalities.
