Once in a while my girl Bermuda seems to get conjested. She'll cough and
it sounds very phlegmy. I will give her hairball medicine and it seems
to make it go away. My question is:

Is that what it sounds like when a ferret has a hairball? It's not a
hacking cough. Could a ferret get a cold every other month? My other 3
(Cyn, Bear & Magenta) never show any signs and they haven't been given
hairball medicine. Any ideas?
