You don't play well with others, do you?  I think my fellow FMLers have
done a fine job of saying what needed to be said, so I don't have much to
add.  In fact it's just a question: How could you have a ferret in your
home, and NOT fall completely, totally, head-over-heels in love with him
(or her)????  It's quite obvious that you don't have the same kind of
connection with your pet as most of us here do, and I don't understand
how that can happen.
 
In closing, I would just repeat the suggestion already made: join a list
that suits your needs better than this one does.
