Sandee please keep an eye out on Farrah, she passed away very suddenly
yesterday morning before I woke up. Farrah came to me in November with
her cage mate Sherman. Farrah is only 2 years old, a beautiful silver
mitt female. Farrah and Sherman lived for three months in a 20 gallon
aquarium until my vet called me. When I woke up yesterday morning Farrah
was laying on the floor by the food bowl. I knew she was dead when I
opened the door. I picked her up and could tell she had not been dead
long. I loved on her, called my vet who is open on Sundays so I brought
her in for a necropsy. The vet called within the hour to let me know
Farrah had heartworms. Her heart was much enlarged, and had shown no
signs of heartworms. I have never had a ferret with heartworms, and
really don't know if there were signs to look for. I will take all my
ferrets in this week for blood test, even though mine never go outside,
all but one are rescues and I don't know their background.

Sherman is only 10 months old and will really miss his little Lady. I
will too.

So Sandee please help her find Oscar my old man who passed away 12-26-03
he will be the only ferret she will know. He will be hanging out with
Duckie, Bailey, Jack, Elle, and my heart Lilly.

We love you Farrah and will miss you forever.
