I am new on the ferret list, and have a question regarding a new noise that
my 3 month old female kit named Willow Bear is making. She only started to
do it the day after we brought home our new baby 7 week old Fozzie.

This sound is like a cat hissing but she sucks in instead of spitting out,
it sounds like she's gaspng for air, but she's usually running around
playing when she does it. Does anyone know if this sound is just telling
her new buddy to go away? Or is she having breathing problems? She made
the noise again today while playing with the cat, and she is eating and
palying as much as always! So advice from some experienced ferret people
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
