Leigh Ann,
Can you recommend any good vets in Sacramento?  My wife and I went on vacation
to New Mexico and fell in love with my Dad's ferret and just had to get one for
ourselves.  Not knowing that they were illegal, neither of us are from CA (I am
in the Military).  Of course my home state is Michigan, the other (of three?)
where they are still illegal.
Also, what exactly do they do if you get caught with a ferret? I hear that
hedgehogs are getting popular here, nice to know that they are fine to have.
Everyone knows how domesicated they are.
