Hello!!  Just a few quick questions:
 
1)  My mom just got a year old spayed & descented female.  She is a sweetie
    but has not dooked ONCE in the week she has had her.  No ferret War
    Dance either.  She gives kisses and will play with us for about 2
    seconds and then just wanders away.  It's like she either doesn't know
    how to play or is just not interested.  Any suggestions?  What about her
    "non-dooking" behavior?
 
2) Christine & anyone else, how do you take your ferret to the grocery
store?  Don't the employees and the owner freak out?!?!  I can't imagine
being able to get away with that.  I probably wouldn't try although if I
knew it was okay I would!
 
3) My mom's ferret (her only one) as well as my two have never had meat.
They eat Iams kitten food.  Is it absolutely essential to give them meat?
If so, what kind and how do I get them to eat it?  I tried to give some
cooked hamburger to my two and they wanted no part of it.  All they like is
Laxatone, Nutri-Cal, and raisins.  My mom's ferret doesn't like ANY treats
so far.  Any suggestions?  I/We refuse to buy them small animals to eat.  If
we can't get it at the grocery store, forget it.
