You left with love
 
Dearest Neko-
you arrived at the shelter quite unprepared
you and your gal for the world ahead
 
Left by your family
what do you do
We loved you and nursed you
and hoped see you through
 
And finally a warm face did say-
let me take them home and let them play
with the others who call it home
 
Your gift was Mom Judy
a home full of love
she held you and fed you and gifted her love
a home for Neko and Nomar too
A home that would never forsaken you.
 
Your illness did weaken you far too soon
But the love you were given
and the medical care
helped strengthen you
  and allowed you to play another day.
 
The night swiftly came
then called you afar
Mom Judy worked feverishly
to keep you at home.
 
But angels did lift you gently
from her loving arms
and we know you are now safe
and free from harm.
 
St Gregory's House is missing some joy
and two Moms share the loss of a very special boy.
God speed  Dear Neko.
