Choking on water

Can you attach a lock-on bowl below the bottle?  One of our ferrets also
chokes on water when drinking from a tube, so we use the bottles as
back-up, but their main water supply is in a bowl in their cages.  The
ferret room has a heavy crock of water.  Ferrets can be bowl draggers, so
this is a 6 inch high crock, heavy enough they leave it be.
 
Actually, I think ferrets drink quite a lot of water.  When playing they
run to the water source frequently.
