Hello there!  My name is Emily and I have one ferret, Willis.  He is a five
month old albino.  My roommate was recently diagnosed with bronchitis, and
I just found out that I have it, too.  We have both handled Willis quite a
bit.  I know that the common cold can be transmitted, but has anyone had
experience with this particular affliction?  And if so, are there any
preventive measures I should take?  Another factor is that I live in
Columbia, MO, where the sale of ferrets is prohibited, and I'm concerned
about getting him medical care should he need it.  I saw Columbia mentioned
before so thought i might get some help.
