Any and all suggestions welcom. I have a friend whose little female ferret
Disney died a few weeks ago. She waited about 3 weeks and decided that her
other ferret should have a playmate. Sparky is a down right mean ferret.
He still bites Ruth from time to time and when I watch him for her, I have
to be really quick when handling him as he activley tries to bite, and
hard. She has had him since he was a kit and does not understand why he is
loke this. When she introduced Disney to him it took a solid week before
he finally tried tyo stop hurting her and tolerated her.

I took Patches over there on Friday and the attack that ensued was so bad
that if Sparky now even looks like he is looking at patches. she screams
and runs the other way. Ruth keeps them seperated when she is not there
and monitors all out of cage time. We tried spraying her down with bitter
apple, sharing and changing bedding, but nothing seems to be working. How
long should we continue trying. I feel like an errant mother exposing her
to this kind of stress.
