Indeed ferrets do!  This sems to be when they're VERY excited, and only
some will.  Triton, my freind's ferret, wags his tail when you play with
him when he's in a tube.  Neptune, his best buddy, seems to do this as
well, though less frequently, and apparently learned it off of Triton.
