My Jade was neutered and descented when I purchased him as a kit. My Daisy
was spayed but not descented.

I asked my Vet about descenting Daisy and was curious about declawing. My
vet refuses to descent unless there is a medical reason. She also refuses
to declaw, stating that it is a form of unecessary mutilation, (I believe
that is the way she put it). What an excellent Vet she is.

What ever happened to "Take me as I am" or "I love you just the way you
are". It applies to pets too!!!

From now on, any ferret I have, will be complete with anal sacs and claws
all intact!!!

I still belive in spaying and neutering, That is a responsible must (IMO)
if not for breeding purposes.
