My kids favorite toys are sissal balls, hard jingle plastic balls any
size (my Sarah used to take a small one with her front legs and tuck it
under her chest holding it tightly with her front legs, scoot backwards
with it -was the funniest thing to watch), and cat toy fishing rod that
actually works (from Petco).  It has a big shiny sun fish on the end of
the rod and you can actually cast the rod out from wherever you are and
catch a weasel with it!  Tempt them and they chase it and you can reel
them in.  It is too funny.  Great exercise too.  The only problem with it
sometimes is they grab the fish and won't let go and if you try to reel
them in, you can either break the rod which is plastic (if the ferret is
big or heavy) or the line will snap.  The line is very long and the fish
can be tacked back on.  I always buy a few to have ahead in case the
plastic rod is broken.  (They are in the cat aisle).
