I finally figured out what to do with the small triangle litter pans that
come in with the cages.  I have no use for them so I took them and also
any pine shavings and CareFresh bedding to a local wildlife rehabber.
She welcomed them for the tiny lives they work with.
 
Now that the goods and bads of treats is being discussed I got in with
some ferrets a package of 8 in One Ferret Fruit Cakes so I now see for
myself just how BAD they must be.  Dry mango, papaya, cranberries, honey,
raisin juice, banana puree, all made into a little cake with kibble.
If the fruit doesn't cause a blockage it may lead to insulinoma with all
the carbs.
