We have been using plain mineral oil for ear mites with great success.
Once a day use two or three drops per ear and rub in gently. Not only
does the oil kill the mites it also helps keep the ear clean.

If you don't have mineral oil handy you can use baby oil. It's just
mineral oil with perfume added.
