Bet you can't own just one......

Why own a ferret, theres danger you know

You can't own just one for the craving will grow

Theres no doubt they are addictive, wherein lies the danger

While living with lots, you"ll grow poorer and stranger.

One ferret is no trouble, and two are so funny,

the third one is easy, the fouth ones a honey.

The fifth is delightful, the sixth ones a breeze.

you"ll find you can live with a housefull of these.

So how bout another, would you really dare?

Their really quite easy, but oh lord the glare..

With ferrets in the sofa, and ferrets under the bed

and ferrets in the kitchen, it's no bother you said.

Theres really no trouble, their manners aren't great

Whats just one more ferret and one more little gate

The floors are all cluttered with toys everywhere

The laundry is piling but what do you care.

So lets keep A ferret, you can always find room.

And a little more playtime with the mop and the broom

Theres hardly A limit to the ferrets you can add

The thought of a cutback sure makes you feel sad

Each one is so special, so cute and so funny

The food bill grows larger, you owe the vet money

Your folks never visit, few friends come to stay

Except other ferret folks who live the same way.

Is it worth it you wonder, are you caught in a trap

then one of them climbs on up in your lap.

Her look says your special and you know that you will

keep all of your critters in spite of the bill...

Of coarse its all worth it, how could you think less

The little looks on their faces tell you the rest.

Your lifestyle has changed, things just won't be the same

Yes those ferrets are addictive and so is their game.

just thought everyone would like it-not sure who it's by * Becky *
