Hi, all. I am getting tired of dumped litter boxes in the living room <g>
so am thinking of making my babies a digging box. Perhaps that will curb
their appetite (particularly Carter and Gabrielle) for -- ewwww! --
digging in the potty. (And then they go kiss their mommy with those
mouths!)

Now I have to decide what to put in it. Nixed the potting soil idea -- far
too dirty. I know some of you have rice boxes, but I have heard that some
fuzzies eat the rice, and since Gabrielle will eat *anything* she can get
her teeth into, the more verboten the better, I think rice is out too.

So, here's my question -- is play sand, the kind you'd buy for a sandbox
from Home Depot or Menards, safe? I don't care about the potential mess
(it can't be as bad as potting soil <g>), just so it isn't hazardous to
the fuzzies.
