I was contacted by a guy named Tim looking to adopt ferrets. He took
an attitude with me when I suggested some basic education on ferrets
and volunteering to familiarize with ferret care. He told me he was
contacting other shelters and had this tone like, well I hope you're
not over run cause we could have taken a couple off your hands....and
"we're not looking to WORK at a shelter". (Rolling eyes)

He obviously thinks he can waltz into a rescue with $$ in hand and
walk out with ferrets without even completing an adoption agreementg.
Thought I'd give the MD shelters a heads up. With that attitude and
comments like "having many cats over the past twenty years",....
(hmmm...wonder what happened to them?) I know he won't be getting
any of my kids.
