Hi all,

I have a 2yr old male who is being treated successfully for IBD with
prednisone. The trouble I am having is reducing the pred dose -
everytime I try to drop his dosage down to every 2nd day his symptoms
flare up again, so I go back to a daily dose and once again he picks up.
I am concerned about side effects from the prednisone long term and was
hoping someone could tell me what is considered a safe dosage? He seems
to remain stable on 0.01ml twice daily.

Jodie
