The folks here at Ferret Wise Shelter would like to thank those folks who
travelled over to spend the day last Saturday at our 2nd annual Friends
Walk.  We had folks from V, NH, NY, CT, MA and ME !!!!
 
It was a hot day, but everyone seemed to have fun, we had a small wading
pool for the fur kids.  When all the funds pledged are turned in we will
have raised $1,045.  to help with shelter expenses this year.
 
Additionally the auction table brought in $210.  The HARD ROCK CAFE - Boston
Denim Jacket was won by a lady in Jaffrey NH.  It stayed close to the
shelter.  As did the top fund- raising trophy -- boy what a beautiful job
Jim and Jeanne!  That was once again won by the Ricard's in Jaffrey NH.
Someone will just have to beat them next year!  They will have a full wall
of plaques!
 
The Healing Beads Raffle for (a necklace & bracelet of chinese turquoise
beads and freshwater pearls with complimenting sterling dangle earrings) -
was won by NH shelter Mom Stephanie Mudgett.  They sure will look beautiful
on her !!!!
 
We had a great time meeting you all and hope to have another event next
Spring-- earlier in the month would be better and hope you can all attend
again.
