Hello folks--
"Bear" Ferret Wise here.  It seems that someone in FML land is confused --
The "Teddy Bear Picnic" named for yours truly!  is indeed on SATURDAY,
SEPTEMBER, 11 from 11AM - 4 PM at the Recreational Pavilion (off Fitch
Court) in Marlborough, NH.  Those who have pre-registered ( or wish to pre
register by Sept 4th) will get a picnic lunch ( hot dogs & soda) free of
charge in addition to the rest of the days events!
 
(This should not be confused with teh Feret Festival September 18th at
Wasserman Park, Merrimack, NH - but we will be there too)!
 
There will be a walk a thon ( Ferrets Walk) with trophies for the top 3
fund raisers-- also a trophy for the fastest ferret - in the timed walk
event.  Other trophies are for the senior ferret in attendance, ferret
furthest traveled to the event.  A trophy and special prize to the winner
of the tent city tournament ( a pre registered event).  A HUGE basket of
goodies to the winner of the cutest ferret photo contest ( popular
vote)pre-registered event ($2 per entry)-- hurry if you want to enter!
Lots of photos are arriving even from OHIO!
 
There will be ferret tarot reading available ( for donation to the shelter)
LOTS and LOTS of games, prizes etc.  Vendors with goodies from several
shelters and from the FERRET STORE too!  Totally Ferret food available at
special prices ( advance sign up required!!!)
 
A celebration cake for all to share
 
The winner of "The shelterer- Ariel & Duncan" will be drawn and presented
by bear artist Janet O'Brien of Zuzubears - "Beanie Bears" and other
collectible bears as well as NEW ferret cages, supplies etc., which will
be on the auction table-- and FINALLY there will be an announcement for the
SPECIAL years 2000 Picnic event-- you folks won't want to miss this one!
