Science Weekly News announced in the edition I got yesterday that funding
for the captive breeding program for the Black Footed Ferret will be cut
by Der Fuerher Bush.
 
This will doom the breeding program and Bush will be the first American
president directly responsible for the extinction of an endangered species.
 
This goes hand in hand with Bush's request to Congress last week to grant
him sole and total control of the Endangered Species List and to remove the
rights of private citizens to sue the government to have animals added to
the list.
 
I strongly urge everyone who reads this to pass it on to your friends and
to call your congress person and senators to protest granting the office of
the president this level of power and to urge them to specifically address
the plight of the BBF in session.
