Footsie and I would like to thank all of the people that resonded to our
question regarding Ferret Associations in Toronto!! We found some people
and ferrets!! yay!!

I would also like to say that during my 2 weeks of living with Footsie (gosh
has it really only been 2 wks!?) I have been trying to find and create toys
to keep her amused and happy since she is my only ferret. I have read many
suggestions here as well as on the net and I must say that Footsie has been
very delighted and amused with most with the exception of the tub of snow in
the bathroom (cold feets are no fun!) Yesterday my bf and I were in a pet
store having a look at some fuzzies there and happended in our wanderings to
come accross miniture Kongs designed for Chihuihui's and Shitzu's (sp?)
Well!!! Footsie has lost her mind completly over this toy and it is
definatly her favorite. She is possessive with it and does not like you to
take it away!! I am aware of the dangers of rubber to Footsie and even
though it is made of a very thick and durable rubber, Footsie is not left
alone with the Kong unsupervised. She seems to love the way it bounces
willy-nilly and goes crazy for it. Her other favorite is a practice golf
ball (6 for $2) tied to a string and draged all over. That toy also seems
to have helped tremendously with her co-ordination and speed.

Again thankx to all who responded. I think this is a great digest. Love
all of the information.
Laughing thro life,
Cindy and Footsie (are those feet under the covers? gimmie gimmie!)
