What do you think is the optimum number of kits to a litter?  Too few (which
you can't do a whole lot about) and the mother will disregard them, too many
and it's rather stressful for her.  But what's the numbers when sad things
happen, usually?

Yes, and so could you and your clothes.  Be thankful that the virus doesn't
"live" outside the body as long as the plasmacytosis virus.
