When I was carrying my daughter (now 10) the OBs were having women take
vitamin supplements (folic acid?  ) in addition to the regular pregnancy
vitamins to prevent Spina Bifida.
 
Although there are many other causes, could some kind of vitamin deficienty
also cause this kind of problem in ferret kits?
