I just thought I say a couple things.
 
LouLou is my sweetie ferret who LOVES chocolate.  I was reading another post
about a ferret who also has the addiction.  I can say that LouLou does not
scream when I take it away but she does fight me for it.  Usually she gets
ahold of a chocolate chip cookie on the table or an M&M or even a jelly bean
which aren't chocolate but are still candy!  I try not to let her eat very
much but it's so sad because she loves chocolate.  She goes nuts for it and
I've caught her running off with some several times!  It's hilarious!
 
Regarding winter fat.  Casey, my other ferret gets soooo fluffy in the
winter.  First she lost a lot of hair and looked pathetically thin and very
black.  Then she got her white down undercoat.  She looks fluffy and she is
soooo soft.  And all of a sudden in the last few days she's has gained
weight!!  Her neck is thick and her belly is fat.  It feels like a big water
balloon so I'm not sure if it's fat or water.  But she looks like a totally
different ferret.  I love it.
