Several people have requested information on how to contact the Sierra Club
Legislative Office in Sacramento, CA.

The address is:
Sierra Club
ATTN: Bill Craven
1414 K Str
Suite 300
Sacramento, CA 95814

On another note, I've noticed that once again there have been in-fighting
with regard to the various groups working for the welfare of ferrets in CA.
To the folks who feel it necessary to put one group down in order to support
another -- please stop. If you really are interested in the legalization
effort and the welfare of ferrets, please save your arguments and
ill-words/feelings until AFTER legalization has been achieved. This
constant in-fighting does the legalization effort no good at all. Remember
the words of President Lincoln "A house divided against itself cannot
stand." The same is true of political movements. Quite frankly, I am
beginning to wonder about the motivations of some people in California. Are
they really interested in the legalization of ferrets, or are they more
interested in self-glory? I am positive that once legalization is achieved,
there will be more than enough gratitude and credit to go around that
everyone will be satisfied. In other words, win the fight and then worry
about the bragging rights. Just something to think over.
