We had our second annual Ferret Giving Tree Party on Sunday, December
11th with many Massachusetts Ferret Friends Members attending.  In
particular I wanted to send a special thank you to everyone who planned,
shopped, donated, gathered, sorted, assembled, packed, tracked down
addresses, weighed boxes, and contributed to the postage..as well as
all the other things you did..to make Sunday's Ferret Giving Party a
Wonderful Success.  I had the pleasurable task of placing many, many
heavy boxes on my front doorstep for the US Postal Service to wisk
away on their Ferret Santa Sleigh this morning.  I did leave them a
nice bundle of the homemade cookies as a thank for their help as well.
 
Even though we didn't take pictures, and gathered together without
fanfare nor expected any "pats on the back"
 
I want you to know that you are all so truly inspiring...
 
There are so many ferrets, their rescuers and daily caregivers, who will
take heart to keep on for another day with that sparkle knowing that
there are others who cared enough to think of them and their fuzzy
little characters during this Christmas Season.
 
I can tell you that all of my little characters truly enjoyed all of your
company and I swear were trying to be especially cute for all of you,
they even seemed happy to have their nails trimmed (thanks Rose!) Grumpy
BearBear didn't even mind very much donning the Santa Hat and Outfit
lent to me by Kevin Spencer & Eve Valera.
 
I'm wishing you all the very merriest of Christmas Wishes..Near and
Far.God Bless You All and All Those You Care For, Care About and Those
You Miss Every Day.
