A friend of mine wrote this. I just love her imagery!

Anyone out there will drawing skills who would like to illustrate it?

-----

Ever distanc'd,
the haz'd mountains
of my dremes,
ever gilded
by descendant
Sun,
Her golden kirtle
trailing soft fire........

A silver moon
finds His lemon way
among sleeping trees.

There are creatures
there,
creatures
of bright fur
and starr'd whiskers,
playing
and running
within this watchful
forest.

The wide ring of the moon's lamp
bathes them in their dance,
the grey pearls of
ground-fog
bejewel their feet.

On this magic night,
there will be
moon
and stars.....
there will be midnight trees....
and.....
(within the sweet envelope of
my uncertain dreme.....)
there will be.....

ferrets.
