BioSpot for ferrets?

I just ordered some BioSpot for my cat, and the package said it's for cats
and ferrets.  Has anyone tried this for their ferrets?  I've actually
never used any flea & tick remedy on my ferrets.  They don't go outside
often, and I figure as long as the dog and cat are protected, there's not
too much risk that my little monsters will get fleas.
