Subject is 3 yrs old white female, nuetered and descented, ex Marshall Farms
and weighs a shade over 2 lbs.

We've seen the following occur 3 times and while no adverse reactions seem
to come with it I'm curious regarding what it might be. "It" is a perfectly
circular disk marking about 1 centimeter across on the belly about 1 inch to
the left of center and about half way between the hind legs and front legs.
It is not in the vicinity of a nipple. I've never seen it forming, I just
notice it being there one day. It looks most like a bruise with dark
red/brown in middle and very slightly paler and browner towards the edge but
it doesn't just gradually blend into the rest of the skin. It has a very
distinct edge and its exactly circular. It is not raised up from the rest
of the skin. It stays for about a couple of days and usually develops a
small scab in the center, rather like some small seapage of something had
hardened. Within three days it completely and suddenly dissapears. i.e.
I've never seen it shrinking in size, just one morning its gone.

First time we saw it was last August. Vetinary opinion was that it might
have been a small puncture wound. (Amoxy to be safe but it went within 2
days.) Second time was last December. Vetinary opinion was uncertain.
Clearly not a puncture wound as exactly the same place as the previous time.
Cyst maybe. Third time was last week. Again it only lasted for a couple of
days. I didn't seek a vetinary opinion this time.

I would appreciate any suggestions if anything similar has been seen
elsewhere or whether there is anything I could or should be doing about it.
i.e. trying to get some kind of skin sample taken next time in case its a
skin cancer?
