Wolfy,

I assume Sean is a young child. If you think his discussion with your
Rocky is funny, you should hear mine with my Rocky.

Scene:
Me peeling and cutting fruit in the morning. Rocky at my feet.

Rocky does his Playboy centerfold spread-- "look how good I am, please
give me some fruit."

I give him a little piece.

He looks up at me pleading for more with those eyes (you all know what I
mean).

I say: "But Rocky, you're a carnivore. Carnivores are only supposed to
eat meat. If fruit were good for you, I'd give you all the fruit you
want. In fact, you could eat fruit all day. But fruit's not good for
you because you're a carnivore. Carnivores eat meat. Cats are
carnivores, too. They don't eat fruit. Your sister Yoda never begged
for fruit. You just have to accept the fact that you're a carnivore.
I can eat fruit because I'm not a carnivore. Fruit is good for me. I'm
an omnivore. I can eat everything. But you're a carnivore ...."

I keep trying to explain this to Rocky but he refuses to listen. He
continues, each morning, to beg for fruit, bread or any other non-meat
item I happen to be eating.

Do all Rocky ferrets think they're human? Will Rocky ever accept the
fact that he's supposed to like meat, not fruit?

Shron
