It is finally here... W R M Q...White Russian Memorial Quilt
 
This VERY SPECIAL Raffle is to benefit ADV research at U of GA in
the Memory of White Russian, an extremely special ferret who was the
"SpokesFerret" for ADV, the FACE of ADV, if you will, until ADV finally
beat him on May 8, 2002...Today is the 1 year anniversary of that
passing.
 
The Quilt was made by Ardith...
The brain child of "Mr. Anonymous"...
With a few tweaks and ideas from Kat...
And then Ardith's creativity and expertise...
Then Wolfy was dragged into it, too...;-)

The description of the Quilt
 
The Quilt is 78" X 92"
100% Cotton :
Bali hand dyed fabrics...
Bali batik fabrics...
Kona hand dyed fabrics...
Photographs are printed onto actual fabric, [no iron on transfers].
Color set for durability...
Wash with care...
Professionally Machine Quilted...
Edges bound by hand with a double fold binding.

This Raffle begins May 8, 2003, the 1st anniversary of White Russian's
losing his battle with ADV.
 
The winning ticket will be drawn at The 2003 International Ferret
Symposium, October 3-5, 2003, Atlanta, Georgia...
 
The tickets are:
$1.00 each, 6 for $5.00, and the super special...30 for $20.00

This whole raffle is being done by committee with certain people handling
certain aspects of it...but we are ALL involved and keep tabs on every
part of it.  We just want everyone to feel comfortable with their
donations.  This project is just too special to us all to take any
chances on misunderstandings or misgivings.
