When I saw the post on belly buttons and tummy raspberries I knew I had
to share this "newbie" story.

When I got my first baby, Kiki, the pet store didn't know if it was a boy
or a girl. After some under tail investigation if was decided that Kiki
was a girl. I got "her" home and was having a ball playing and tickling
her "belly button" which I assumed was a normal outie belly button.
After several days I noticed that her belly button seems to be wet?!
So off we went to the vet for a panicked emergency visit. (my ferret is
leaking something out of her belly button! Is she dying or what? :-(. )
Where I was politely (lots of smiles) informed that that wasn't "her"
belly button. Suprise, it's a boy! Talk about embarrased. Oh my gosh!
I haven't been back to that vet since.
