This is in response to the recent post by a person with a multiple animal
household including a male ferret with a possible urinary problem (sorry I
didn't note your name!)

Having a multiple animal household can complicate the monitoring of the
food/water consumption and bowel/bladder output of the individual animals.
One way to get around this is to simply periodically confine one animal
apart from the group. Doing this on a rotational basis will enhance the
quality of the information your vet will likely seek from you about the
animal.

Getting back to the ferret in question, I assume you already had him
examined by a vet. I hope nothing serious was found.
