Just a reminder about the Buckeye Bash, Put on by Heart of Ohio Ferret
Association Saturday, August 25th, 2001 at Vet's Memorial in Columbus,
Ohio.  I will be there, with a vendor table, Hawking my homemade hammocks
(for you Goth folks, I have a few black ones, and for the Guys, FOOTBALL
print hammocks!!!), sleepsacks, and cloth tubes, blankies, and carrier box
pads.  Watch for our Ferret Costumes!  Examples are evening dress, sun
dress, leprechaun, and prince/princess outfits.  Bandannas too.  OH and
ONE ferret carry sack, with a sewn in strap to clip to your ferret's
harness and keep him or her safely inside.
 
Also present will be my holiday ferret tree ornaments, ferret statues,
magnets, and other ferret related items, all hand carved, crafted, or
painted, by me.
A few of our special features will be
1) a Raffle, of a basket containing the following:
 
2 large hammocks
1 sleepsack
eight hammock clips
one glass ball ornaments "Dook the Halls"
1 ferret magnet "Save a Life, Adopt a Rescue"
One ferret Magnet "Ferret Face"
1 jingle ball
1 Ferret bed basket
 
1 ticket-$1, 6 for $5
Drawing at 6pm need not be present to win.
 
2) Tarot readings for you and your ferret.  A $5 donation to our Rescues
gets you and/or your ferret a reading.
 
Rumour has it we will have a Scoozie Ferret, Sable, brand new, in the box
there for $20.  If I can find him...
 
Our Donation Jar will be there, too.
 
Please turn out, and support the ferret community, we look forward to
making new friends, and seeing old ones again!
