dear lymebabe,

my name is rick, my wife and i run a ferret rescue in mo.

we took one in that was very thin from being fed a dry cheap cat food.
we have been feeding him ...mixed in a blender 1 can of feline a/d, 1 jar
of baby food meat, take the empty baby food jar and fill it 1/2 to 3/4
full of pediatric electrolyte solution. we fed him at lest three times
a day 30 ml. each feeding. he has responded very well and now we need
a crane to lift his butt up lol.

as for the itching she may have dry skin or a nervious condition that
is causing it. try mixing in to her food mix some ferretvite and some
ferretone to help her skin and coat and the vitamins will help her
nutritionally.

i hope this helps her..
