Dear Dorchester, Mattapan, Hyde Park, Milton,(Massachusetts) Residents,
 
The Ways and Means Committee is probably the biggest step toward passing
the legalization bill. Rep Thomas Finneran is the chair of the committee,
and one of the most powerful people in the legislature especially with
regard to this issue - a very good man to have on our side.
 
If you live in this area please contact him and ask friends to contact
him now.  Identify yourself as a member of his district and stress the
positive about ferrets in a friendly, pleasant manner!  You are our
greatest hope for this bill to pass this year!
 
Notice I'm no longer posting anonymously to stress the importance of our
taking action to pass this bill.  If I get into trouble with the law I
plan to force the authorities to put me in jail over having a pet ferret.
The press would eat it up for a while and I think this would only further
our cause.  Please help by calling and writing...
