Alexandra,

Hats off to you for keeping a rooster. I am sure you know the benefits
of eating fertile eggs.

For those that do not know, the rooster plays an important part in your
egg health.

The hen, all by herself, will lay eggs for you. And they have
cholesterol in them, just like all the "Do not eat eggs" mongers said.

What they did not tell you, was, the Rooster's contribution to the egg,
is 100 percent lethicin the natural emulsifier of cholesterol.

But, he has to eat, and the big egg farms are saving money by not
running a "good for nothing" rooster with the flock. Also, there is not
room enough for two birds in that little cramped cage the hen must live
in. Fertile eggs are the way to go.

My Dad was a naturalist - before it was popular - and he always said.
You pay the drug store or the supermarket - take your choice.

He lived to be 93.

Marilyn
