The flu has been rampant in the NE.  I've had it for a week and now my
boy Nexus has it.  We're going to the vet this afternoon.  I was so
careful to stay away from him and to wash my hands before feeding him,
etc.  His eyes are watery and he makes noises like he is trying to
clear his throat.  His appetite is good.  He has eaten all of the soup
I made for him.  It's important to keep a sick ferret hydrated.
 
Condolences to all of you who have recently lost fuzzies and best wishes
to those humans and fuzzies who are ill.
