ALABAMA - FFDRI Status = Alert
GEORGIA - FFDRI Status = Alert.

I am very pleased to tell you all that I spoke with Juliana Quadrozzi (of
Marrietta, Ga., a community hit by a tornado in the ealy morning hours of
April 9, 1998)), she and all the members of the GA Domestic Ferret
Association (headed by Jan Lovell of Cummings, GA) are O.K. They did report
that they had lost power but everyone is O.K. We will continue this alert
for the next 48 hours.

As for Alabama - we have made numerous phone calls and have had no response
up to this time (Thursday April 8, 1998 8:47PM) so when we do get a response
we will let you know. We do know there is a Ferret Rescue in the
Birmingham, AL area.

Say prayers for all those who have lost their lives in these disasters - 34
two leggers thus far.

It's been a pretty lousy 2 weeks for Ferret Friends Disaster Response
International so please ad a prayer for those who do so much for the
Children of Fur.

Thank you

Chere McCoy
Director, Ferret Friends Disaster Response International
