"Cuddly" ferrets?

My ferrets feel great to hold and pet and massage, and they are
wonderfully playful with each other and even with me and the dogs and cat
sometimes, but they don't want to cuddle much at all.  They are young --
3 - 5 months.  Will they become more affectionate as they grow up?
 
Only one bites, and he is much better than a month or so ago.  They do
give kisses except the youngest one.
